If you want to start a business in Japan and succeed, you might learn from pioneers who have already succeeded. As a certified public accountant and tax accountant, I have worked with many foreign business owners so that I can give you their types.

1. Intrest in Japan

Most are interested in Japanese values, culture, and people. Therefore, they are inclined to learn Japanese and business customs, which is very helpful for their business.

2. Intention to Speak Japanese

Most of them want to learn Japanese to some extent, even if it is not perfect. As a result, they can speak and understand Japanese to some extent. This leads to many opportunities to get helpful information to improve their business, make good relationships and find good cooperators.

3. Powerful Japanese Cooperator

Most have powerful Japanese cooperators. One of the best ways is to ask a cooperator to take on the CEO, and you keep the CEO’s role in effect. That way, you might be able to solve many hurdles, such as opening a bank account.

4. Good Specialists

When you run a business in Japan, you have to leave many procedures to specialists, such as a visa specialist, a registration specialist, a tax specialist, and so on. Most successful pioneers found good specialists with much knowledge and experience supporting foreign people.
